Refund policy
Payments
All orders placed in the Online Store will only be dispatched after payment has been received. Orders may only be cancelled if they have not yet been shipped.
Stock and Prices
All items available for sale are subject to existing stock. Orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event of a temporary or permanent stock shortage, the customer will be informed and, whenever possible, an alternative product with similar characteristics will be suggested. If this is not possible, the full amount paid will be refunded to the customer at no additional cost.
All prices shown are in Euros, including VAT at the applicable legal rate, as well as Excise Duty (IEC) where applicable. Special promotions available in the Online Store may or may not apply to the physical stores at Quinta do Tamariz.
Prices may be changed without prior notice, and no compensation will be due to customers who purchased products on a previous date at a higher price.
Shipping and Returns
Shipping
Our deliveries are generally carried out between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., on business days only. Delivery times may vary due to external factors such as public holidays, weekends, festive periods, time zones, or adverse weather conditions. If the carrier attempts delivery and the customer is not available to receive the order, delivery times may be affected.
After completing the purchase, the customer will receive an email confirming the order and detailing the products purchased.
Each order is shipped with a consignment note, which allows the customer to track the shipment via mobile phone and email.
In general, after dispatch, the estimated transit time is between 48 and 96 business hours.
The carrier provides appropriate packaging to ensure effective protection of the goods during transport.
Returns
In accordance with Decree-Law No. 143/2001 and Decree-Law No. 82/2008 of May 20, customers have the right to return purchased products within a maximum period of 14 days. To do so, customers must notify the store via email at quintadesantamaria.barcelos@gmail.com, after which they will be informed of the return process, which must be completed within 30 days.
Products must be returned in the same condition as when received, together with their original packaging. Quinta do Tamariz reserves the right to refuse items that do not comply with these conditions.
If the order arrives in poor condition, it should be returned as soon as possible, with photos attached in the designated field of the return form. A front photo and a photo of the back label must always be included, ensuring that the bottle seal is clearly visible. In this case, Quinta do Tamariz will resolve the issue and, if applicable, arrange for collection and inform the customer of the return date.
