Description
Produced in Barcelos, just 20 km from the Atlantic coast, Espumante White Brut 2023 is made using the traditional method, with 9 months of ageing on lees. Crafted from the indigenous grapes Arinto and Loureiro, this sparkling wine showcases vibrant acidity and expressive aromatics, shaped by the coastal influence. Limited production of 1,433 bottles.
Tasting Notes
Visual: Pale yellow color, with a fine and persistent mousse.
Aroma: Clean and precise, with notes of green apple, lemon zest, and white flowers. Subtle hints of brioche and yeast from bottle ageing, with a delicate saline touch reflecting its Atlantic proximity.
Palate: Dry, with high acidity and a light to medium body. Flavors of citrus fruits, green pear, and a hint of stone fruit, supported by subtle toasted complexity. The mousse is creamy and refined, adding structure and length.
Finish: Crisp and mineral, with persistent notes of lemon peel and fresh herbs.
Style: Elegant, fresh, and gastronomic sparkling wine.
