Description
Produced at Quinta do Tamariz, in the Vinhos Verdes Demarcated Region (Sub-region of Cávado), Grande Reserva 2017 is a limited-edition white wine crafted from Arinto, Alvarinho, and Loureiro.
The 2017 viticultural year was marked by a very warm spring, particularly in May, which led to early and uniform flowering. A hot, dry summer accelerated the vine cycle, resulting in an early harvest and wines with higher alcohol content and greater concentration.
Tasting Notes
Visual: Clear, bright citrine color.
Aroma: Elegant and mineral, with citrus notes and hints of stone fruit, light spice, and well-integrated oak.
Palate: Smooth, fresh, and balanced, with great concentration and a long, persistent finish. Lees ageing and partial barrel maturation contribute to volume, structure, and complexity. An intense wine with vibrant acidity, beautifully integrated.
Food Pairing
Excellent with refined seafood, structured fish dishes, white meats, and rich or aromatic cuisine that matches its concentration and elegance.
