Description
Pet Nat Touriga Nacional 2022 is the first rosé pétillant naturel from Quinta do Tamariz, produced in the Vinhos Verdes Demarcated Region (Sub-region of Cávado). Following the success of the estate’s first white Pet Nat in 2021, this release was inspired by the family’s tradition of crafting low-intervention wines, honoring methods used by earlier generations of the Borges Vinagre family.
Made with Touriga Nacional grapes, this natural sparkling wine follows the ancestral method, with no added sulfites and no filtration. Bottled before fermentation finished, it continued fermenting in the bottle on fine lees, producing natural effervescence and a distinctive cloudy appearance. Limited production of just 1,000 bottles makes this a rare expression of tradition and innovation combined.
