Description
Vinha de Cantim Reserva 2023 is produced at Quinta do Tamariz, in the Vinhos Verdes Demarcated Region (Sub-region of Cávado). This vineyard, located beside the manor house, is the oldest plot of the estate, carrying the original name of the quinta, the street, and the place itself.
Made predominantly from Loureiro (90%), complemented by small percentages of Arinto (5%) and Alvarinho (5%), the wine reflects the perfect balance of aroma and acidity offered by this exceptional site. Only the ripest and most perfect clusters were carefully hand-picked in a selective harvest. The grapes were vinified whole, without destemming, and fermented together at 14–16ºC for 30 days, with no malolactic fermentation, to preserve freshness and aromatic purity.
This is a wine designed for ageing, showcasing the unique expression of the estate’s heritage vineyard. Bottled in June 2024 and released in November 2024, only 1,344 bottles were produced.
