Description

Produced at Quinta do Tamariz, in the Vinhos Verdes Demarcated Region (IGP Minho), Vinha do Jardim Rosé 2023 is a limited edition wine (only 3,462 bottles), made exclusively from Touriga Nacional grapes. The vineyard that inspired its name is a 6,000 m² plot beside the manor house garden.

Hand-harvested grapes were carefully selected and quickly transported to the winery. After 90% destemming, they were lightly pressed and fermented in stainless steel vats at 14–16ºC for 10 days, preserving freshness and elegance.

The 2023 vintage was marked by an early flowering due to high spring temperatures, followed by a hot, dry summer that allowed a complete and balanced transformation of sugars into alcohol. Bottled in March 2024, this rosé reflects both the terroir and the year’s character.

Tasting Notes

Visual: Clear, bright rosé color.

Aroma: Fresh red fruits, especially strawberries, with floral notes.

Palate: Dry, fresh, and fruity, with well-balanced acidity, mineral elegance, and a pleasant finish.

Style: Elegant and youthful, with a distinctive mineral touch.
